The management of Benue State University, Markurdi (BSUM) has released a statement on payment of school fees. The statement reads;
1. Management had previously issued statements on the need for students to live up to their obligations in the payment of school fees. Management has noted with serious concern that majority of students are yet to pay their fees thereby impeding the running and administration of the University.
2. In view of the foregoing, therefore, Management has resolved to grant a period of grace from Tuesday, 3rd – Friday, 6th January, 2017 to enable students pay their fees preparatory to commence the 2015/2016 Second Semester Examinations on Monday, 9th January, 2017.
3. Students are enjoined to take advantage of this grace period to pay their fees as defaulters shall not be allowed to write the examinations as scheduled.
4. In view of the foregoing, therefore, Management has resolved to grant a period of grace from Tuesday, 3rd – Friday, 6th January, 2017 to enable students pay their fees preparatory to commence the 2015/2016 Second Semester Examinations on Monday, 9th January, 2017.
5. Deans and Heads of Departments are to ensure strict compliance.
